Official date for Tendring's decision
Tendring District Council has finally set a date at which the Local Planner's recommendation on whether or not to approve the Earls Hall wind "farm" will be debated. It has posted the following message: "The application has now been targeted fo a special meeting on 19 June. Information display boards with visual details of the scheme will be in Room 34 on 3 June 2008 for Member's [of the Development Control Committee (DCC)] information". Please see pages 10 and 11 on the document in this link.
We happen to know that the Princes Theatre in Clacton has been booked for the meeting. This is a last chance for members of the public to show their opposition to the project. The Planner's actual recommendation is unlikely to be made public until five working days before the meeting (so 12th June). DCC Members will then vote whether to accept or reject the recommendation.
